2022 Charities
Best of Clarksville is celebrating our 26th anniversary this fall & are proud to announce our 2022 local charity recipients: American Mobility Project, Crisis 211, Clarksville Area Urban Ministries SafeHouse and Finders Keepers Cat Rescue. Each of the charities will receive proceeds from the event, scheduled for Thursday, October 6, 2022 at Governor’s Square Mall in Clarksville.
American Mobility Project is a local nonprofit that provides adaptive & mobility equipment to enhance independent living for people with disabilities. Items such as wheelchairs that go up & down stairs, adaptive tandem bikes for families of children with severe disabilities, adaptive strollers & more. |
Crisis 211 is a local nonprofit that provides live support to community members in crisis 24-hours a day, 365 days of the year so that no one in need is left unassisted. All needs are addressed by listening, crisis counseling & resource referral.

Clarksville Area Urban Ministries SafeHouse program provides inclusive & trauma informed advocacy services 24 hours daily to Survivors of domestic violence & their minor children. Services include crisis hotline, safe shelter program, mobile advocacy program, case management, child advocacy, legal advocacy, safety planning, support & education groups, counseling, community education & outreach & Safe at Home Address Confidentiality program registration. |
Finders Keepers is a non-profit whose mission is to help lower the stray cat population in Clarksville / Montgomery County by fostering, vetting & adopting formerly stray cats. They also help TNR (trap, neuter & return) in conjunction with other local organizations with shared missions. |
The Best of Clarksville is very excited to be hosted by these local groups whose focus is giving back to the Clarksville community.

Bikers Who Care is an organization of motorcycle enthusiasts dedicated to supporting children's charities.
